TWO ROADS DIVERGED:
‘Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood’
The
poet stood before two roads which were diverged
in a yellow wood. He cannot travel on both the roads at a same time. So
he stood for a long time to travel in one road. He looked the road as far as he
could. He saw the road till it bends in the undergrowth.
CHOOSING A ROAD:
The
poet choose a road which was grasy. The road was less travelled. The roads
looked same. He kept the another road to travel on the another day. Yet, he
doubted about his return because the way leads on to a way.
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back
LESS TRAVELLED ROAD:
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference
The
poet tells that he would tell with a sigh that he has chosen the less travelled
road. He would tell for ages and ages that he chose a less travelled road in
the yellow wood. He would tell that the road has made all the difference.
