ADAMS AND EVES BY ANAND KUMAR RAJU

Introduction
Eve teasing is men making fun of young women in public places.  It is one of most disgraceful behaviour. It hurts the women. In the lesson Adams and Eves, Anand Kumar Raju  presents a conversation among Suresh Surekha and Uncle T.  They discuss about eve teasing as Surekha has been teased by the college students.

Surekha and her friends:
Surekha tell her brother that she has been teased by Bimmy and his group. Surekha gets angry and he wants to fight with Bimmy. But Surekha says that she had given written complaint in  police station. Bimmy and his group were been taken to police station. The parents of the Gang were been called and warned by the police.

Suresh's reaction:
Suresh was emotional towards surekha complaint about Bimmy. Suresh wants to beat Bimmy as he teased Surekha and her friends. Uncle T intervenes the conversation and ask about the  argument.  Suresh tell him that he wants to smash the person. Uncle T controls him and questions "How many sisters are you going to protect Suresh? " He tells Suresh that the police is there to deal with eve teasing

Advice of uncle T:
Uncle T tells Suresh and Surekha that the police would take action for eve teasing. If more women complaint directly to the police station,  there would be less of eve teasing he tells that eve teasing cannot be eliminated all together. The eve teasers too have sisters. Bimmy has sister who studies in medical college. Even Bimmy wouldn't like his sister to be teased.

Conditioning of children:
Uncle T tells them about conditioning at home. Conditioning begins at home but it does not end there. It continues outside the home. The advertisement and movies inculcate undesirable values. The society is responsible for the change of  mind. The movies had made an impact that violence is a part of the psyche. The violence in the tragedies is to feel the pain of hero. The audience left the theatre cleansed of their negative feelings.

Conclusion: 
Thus Uncle T concludes the conversation by quoting the life of David Sheppard,  the British cricketer. David Sheppard was a decent person who stayed away from teammates. They liked and respected him When he was around, they stopped using bad language. Thus An individual can you contribute to make his immediate environment.
